Successful day!

Well the sun has been shining the past few days, and that always makes me want to get things done and also be outside! So, today, I achieved both those things!
I had lunch in the garden, salads are back on the menu.. something about the cold weather makes me not want to eat salad, so countless weeks during winter, the lettuce I buy gets thrown.. not good, but at least now I'm going to eat and enjoy them!!
Yesterday I raked the garden for a couple hours, boy did I suffer this morning, hence I've taken to wearing the back support again today.. I raked some more this morning and laid down weed killer, then measured the area at the back of the shed to plan out the amount of protective layering we need and pea shingle, as we are finally going to finish that area.

Garden swing chair with re-covered seating cushion, one down one to go!

Next step, purchase the sheeting and pea-shingle! Cannot wait!

The before and after of the garden chair. I sanded it down after we (stupidly) left them out all winter, and sprayed it a terracotta reddish colour!
