new years eve

Mum and Dad are here tmrw, so I was out running errands.. bought them some new sheets for the bed, a couple new pillows for the sofa, and some of their favourite tidbits. They of course are bringing their own cereal and coffee!! I can't wait for them to get here.. we are gonna have so much to do, shopping, eating, working on the nursery.........!!! :)

another day in bed

another day in bed, MFJ stayed home today, bought me up Heinz tomato soup with bread and butter, then for dinner, when I thought we were getting sausage mash and beans, he made sausage, 'toast' and beans, an American twist me thinks...! Still nice to be cooked for and looked after..

nursery ideas

thinking about what we can do to decorate the baby's room... here's a few ideas;

I like the colour ways of this room, ad the simplicity of it...

I like the stripes here, and the yellow, but not so 'in your face' i think...

and i like the colour here, was thinking of this colour for painting an old cot..

well as the day goes on, this cold is getting worse and worse. So, i'm pretty glad I decided to make dinner earlier today for MFJ. Prawn and Pea Risotto was what I made from the 'Jamie Oliver 20 minute meals' app. I had some for lunch and it wasn't bad, hope he likes it..!

Off to bed now I think.. sniffle sniffle.

I have been thinking about wanting to do a blog for a long time now, so much pressure from appearing 'good' or dare I say it 'cool', so I'm just gonna keep this semi-personal, private, and update something each day... well that's the goal at least.. I need to teach myself more about this blogging malarkey anyway!
